MODELS 2020
Fri 16 - Fri 23 October 2020

About MODELS conference

MODELS, the ACM/IEEE 23rd International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems, is the premier conference series for model-driven software and systems engineering, and is organized with support of ACM SIGSOFT and IEEE TCSE. Since 1998, MODELS has covered all aspects of modeling, from languages and methods, to tools and applications. Attendees of MODELS come from diverse backgrounds, including researchers, academics, engineers and industrial professionals. MODELS 2020 is a forum for participants to exchange cutting-edge research results and innovative practical experiences around modeling and model-driven software and systems. This year’s edition will provide an opportunity for the modeling community to further advance the foundations of modeling, and come up with innovative applications of modeling in emerging areas of cyber-physical systems, embedded systems, socio-technical systems, cloud computing, big data, machine learning, security, open source, and sustainability.

We invite you to join us at MODELS 2020, virtually 16-23 October 2020, and to help shape the modelling methods and technologies of the future!

Update on the COVID-19 situation (MODELS going virtual)

Dear modeling community,

Given the current global situation of the pandemic and the restrictions regarding traveling and organizing events in many countries around the world, including Canada, the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of MODELS 2020 have taken the decision to run the conference fully virtually in October 2020.

Although we will not have the pleasure of welcoming you in Montreal this year, we will do our best to provide you with a virtual MODELS 2020 experience to disseminate the latest research works and facilitate interactions in the current circumstances. All papers of the main tracks and satellite events will be published in the ACM proceedings as planned.

We will soon provide further details on the platforms we will use and the necessary logistics. Keep an eye on the conference website for updated information.

We wish you to stay safe, healthy, and productive. We are looking forward to your contributions and participation.

Best regards,

Eugene Syriani and Houari Sahraoui, General chairs of MODELS 2020
